How to Enter Prize Draws on Our Competition Sites
So, you’ve found one of our pages and spotted a Prize Draw prize you’d love to win…so what next? Read on to find out how to enter a Prize Draw.
Here’s your step-by-step guide.
Getting started
Before you can enter a Prize Draw competition, we first recommend you read the terms and conditions before going any further; they might seem boring but you wouldn’t start a game without knowing the rules, right? They’re easy to find too, just click on the link marked ‘terms and conditions‘ and have a quick read.
You will also be asked to set up an account with us before you enter, this is just so we have a way to contact you if you win. You will also be asked if you would like to receive updates from us about more prizes. All our data collection methods are fully GDPR compliant.
What to do next
Once you’ve done the two simple steps above, you’re good to go ahead and enter your competition. If you didn’t already know, we have two types of competitions here at Giveaway Treasures; Instant Wins (IW) and Prize Draws (PD).
There is already an article all about how to enter an IW, which can be read here, but this post is all about Prize Draws.
Entering a PD is slightly different to entering an IW; all of the Prize Draws require you to answer one multiple choice question about the prize or the company that makes it, Should you select the correct answer you will automatically have gained one entry into the prize draw from which winners will be randomly selected from all of the correct entries into that particular prize draw. Winners will be drawn and notified within 28 days of the closing date by email. By entering the competition you give permission for your details to be shared with the prize sponsor for the fulfilment of the prize should you be a successful winner.
Something to remember is that the answer to the question is often hidden in the text that accompanies the prize, so you rarely need to stray somewhere in search of the answer. Once you think you know the answer, just tick it on the multiple-choice question. Below is an example of how a Prize Draw looks:
How long do Prize Draws run for?
Typically, Prize Draws run for 28 days and all the right answers submitted in that time are added to the draw. Don’t forget to enter once per day to increase your chances of winning! Want to find out more tips on how to increase your chances of winning?
